Genesis10 is currently seeking a BI Analyst with our client in their Sunnyvale, CA location. This is a 12 month + contract position. This is a hybrid position that requires 2+days/week in office, days flexible

Summary:We trust each other to do our best work where it works best for us and our teams.This role offers a hybrid work option, meaning you can both work from home and commute to a client's office, depending on what's best for you and when it is important for your team to be together.Our client's data teams leverage big data to empower business decisions and deliver data-driven insights, metrics, and tools to drive member engagement, business growth, and monetization efforts.With over 1B members around the world, a focus on great user experience, and a mix of B2B and B2C programs, our client offers countless ways for an ambitious data developer to have an impact and transform their career.We are looking for a Business and Data Intelligence Associate to join our team.In this role, you will work with cross-functional partners and develop data foundations, data pipelines, data visualization assets and analysis to enable data-driven decision-making for the Customer Success organization.

Responsibilities:

Tool and Dashboard Development: Design, develop, and maintain data tools and analytics dashboards to automate processes and provide real-time insights into customer metrics and product usage.Foundations and Pipeline Development: Write scalable and efficient SQL to encode business logic and develop robust pipelines on the client data stack.Data Management: Establish robust data collection, storage, and quality assurance processes to ensure the reliability and accuracy of analyses.Project Management: Lead data projects from inception to completion, aligning with strategic goals and ensuring delivery of measurable value to the organization.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross functional partners in customer success and adjacent teams to integrate data-driven insights into strategies and initiatives.Continuous Learning and Innovation: Keep up with industry trends in data science and analytics to drive innovation and improve customer success outcomes.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative discipline4+ years of experience with SQL/relational databases2+ years of business analytics experience in a medium-to-large company with demonstrated ability to navigate complex data environments and provide guidance to business leaders4+ years of relevant industry or relevant academia experience working with large amounts of data2+ years' experience in at least one programming languages (e.g., R, Python, Java, Scala, PHP, JavaScript)2+ years of experience in data visualization and dashboard designOnly candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.

Preferred Qualifications:

MS or PhD in a quantitative discipline: statistics, operations research, computer science, informatics, engineeringStatistical modeling project experience with regression models, tree modelsData pipeline development experienceExperience with data modeling, ETL (Extraction, Transformation & Load) concepts, and patterns for efficient data governanceExperience on a / adjacent to a Business Intelligence teamSelf-starter, able to work independently but ask for guidance when neededAbility to speak comfortably in a variety of settings including one-on-one and in front of large groups and adapt communication style for different audiencesNimble and comfortable with ambiguity; a track record of responding quickly to rapidly evolving opportunities
