AIR is looking for a Sr. Program Manager with a strong delivery record and proven project management experience to own operational and cross-functional projects and programs within Amazon Air Cargo. This role requires the ability to 1) create and implement processes, 2) coordinate and drive execution of customer programs, and 3) communicate risk and status to senior management. Cross-team coordination, program management, and executive presentation skills (internal stakeholders and external customers) are essential.
Key job responsibilities
Single-threaded owner responsible for planning, execution, and delivery of defined projects
Partner with teams across the business to source, allocate, and coordinate resources
Influence design and development of operational and tactical processes
Manage and deliver results on complex projects across multiple organizations
Work with Program Managers and business leaders to communicate the impact of organizational initiatives
Engage with stakeholders to guide these stakeholders and their customers toward consensus
Create and implement process improvements for the execution of Air Cargo programs
Gather and analyze data to help drive organizational decisions
Travel domestically up to 25% of the time

Basic Qualifications
5+ years of program or project management experience
Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
Bachelor's degree
Preferred Qualifications
2+ years of driving process improvements experience
Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
