an Accounting Manager
for two of our multi-faceted client locations, the successful candidate should possess savvy business skills, be a highly motivated professional, with proven ability to establish excellent working relationships with various team members. The ideal candidate will travel between Plymouth State University and Keene State College on a weekly basis to support both accounts.Key Responsibilities:Responsible for all cash handling proceduresPerform reconciliation and analysis for several balance sheet accountsAnalyze financial results for both internal and external useTrack and maintain monthly P/L and balance sheet activityDevelop forecasts and budgets, identifying risks and opportunitiesReview of general ledger and balance sheetResolving various accounting/reconciliation issuesFinancial reports: monthly, quarterly and annual reports, including but not limited to monthly and fiscal close, internal and external audit reporting, report preparation and distributionMaintain inventory and cost control proceduresPayroll and Human Resources administrationPerforms related duties and special projects as assigned
Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred ,
or equivalent professional experienceA minimum of 5 years' experience with revenue control, financial reporting and cash handling responsibilities, at least 3 years in a similar capacityAccounting experience in foodservice or retail industry required, foodservice operations experience a plusExperience with sales analysis and reportingAdept at planning, organizing and controlling complex processes as well as analyzing moderately complex financial informationExcellent verbal and written communication skillsSkilled at managing multiple priorities and relationshipsComputer skills: proficient in Microsoft Office with a concentration in Excel.
