We have an exciting opportunity for anElectronic Fabricator III to join our team!
This is a JETS II CBA position.
The Electronic Fabricator III will:
Perform work based on sketches, engineering drawings, and schematics.
Follow steps documented in procedures, task performance sheets, discrepancy report interim dispositions, procedures and WADs.
Obtain certifications for and remain proficient in the following:
Surface Mount Soldering
Thru-Hole Soldering
Crimping, Interconnecting Cables, harnesses and Wiring
Conformal Coating and Staking
Electrostatic Discharge Control
Lithium Battery Handling
Foreign Object Debris Control
Perform printed circuit board assembly and repair which includes assembly cleanliness verification, demoisturization, masking/de-masking and conformal coating.
Perform Cable and harness fabrication, assembly, and repair.
Perform Electromechanical fabrication, assembly and repair.
Perform other electromechanical assembly operations such as but not limited to soldering, crimping, staking, swaging, torqueing, marking.
Perform Flight Hardware builds in a Flight Hardware production lab.
Identify existing and potential issues during design review, fabrication, modification and/or repair of hardware and immediately communicate issues to staff.
Modify and repair commercial off-the-shelf hardware.
Conduct parts and calibrated tools inventory and perform other laboratory duties as required.
Maintain a safe, clean and orderly work area and adhere to laboratory policies.
Coach and mentor lesser skilled technicians.
Work after hours and/or weekends as required.
Perform related duties as required.
