Job Details
Our construction company is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Permanent Project Manager for our Multifamily Construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the construction of multifamily projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate should have experience in managing multifamily construction projects, have a strong attention to detail, and be able to work well under pressure.
Responsibilities:Manage all aspects of the construction process from pre-construction to project completionDevelop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and cost estimatesEnsure that all work is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standardsOversee the work of subcontractors, vendors, and suppliersCommunicate with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that project goals are metEnsure that all work is performed in compliance with all applicable codes, regulations, and safety standardsManage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and invoicesConduct regular site visits to monitor progress and identify potential issuesManage the procurement of materials and equipment needed for the projectEnsure that all project closeout activities are completed on time and to the satisfaction of the clientQualifications:
Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field3+ years of experience in construction project management, with a focus on multifamily constructionStrong knowledge of mechanical and electrical construction estimatingExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong organizational and time-management skillsAbility to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlinesAbility to read and interpret construction plans and specificationsStrong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and construction management softwareKnowledge of building codes, regulations, and safety standardsAbility to lead and manage a team of subcontractors and vendorsValid driver's license and reliable transportation
