Financial Solutions Group Manager

Citibank, N.A. seeks a Financial Solutions Group Manager for its Long Island City, NY location.
Duties: Coordinate model development activities to support Citi’s efforts to align the interest rate risk modeling processes for all of Citi’s business. Provide governance and implementation oversight of model development activities related to cash flow estimates and regulatory interest rate risk metrics. Conduct model reviews and analyze models and Interest Rate Risk (IRR) submissions to the Federal Reserve Bank and the Office of Comptroller of Currency. Contribute to the redesign of Citi’s Interest Rate Risk framework. Drive the development, documentation, and implementation of statistical models. Create Excel and SAS-based tools for customer rate forecasting and funds transfer pricing across several scenarios including Base, Stress, and interest rate shock scenarios and portfolios. Provide deposit pricing, model development, governance, and implementation expertise to help drive the development of a set of Deposit Customer Rate Challenger models. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Electronic Engineering, Economics, Mathematics or a related field, and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation in the financial services industry. Five (5) years of experience must include: Developing and documenting specialized econometric time series models by using statistical packages including SAS and R that establish statistically supportable relationships between broad macroeconomic metrics including GDP, unemployment and interest rates, and balance sheet lines including loans and deposits; Utilizing regulatory guidance and market practices related to interest risk management in developing conceptually sound modeling frameworks; Synthesizing complex concepts related to treasury, risk management, and balance sheet management and translating into "user-friendly" language for multiple audiences including senior management, internal constituents, and regulators; Managing risks covering areas including systems, data, models, regulatory requirements, governance, and analytics; and Analyzing and assessing compliance and control standards for processes pertaining to quantitative and qualitative modeling, Model Risk Management, and Interest Rate Risk Management processes, including regulatory guidance and management information reporting. 40 hrs./wk.
