Senior Full-Stack Java Software Engineer

As part of a team of makers, breakers, doers, and disruptors, you will have the opportunity to drive a major transformation within Capital One and deliver robust cloud-based solutions that drive powerful experiences to help millions of Americans achieve financial empowerment.Collaborate with Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions in full-stack development tools and technologiesStay on top of tech trends, experiment with new technologies, and mentor other members of the engineering communityWork with digital product managers to deliver robust cloud-based solutionsUtilize programming languages like JavaScript, Java, HTML/CSS, TypeScript, SQL, Python, and Go, Open Source RDBMS and NoSQL databases, Container Orchestration services including Docker and Kubernetes, and a variety of AWS tools and servicesBasic Qualifications:Bachelor's DegreeAt least 3 years of experience in software engineeringPreferred Qualifications:5+ years of experience in at least one of the following: JavaScript, Java, TypeScript, SQL, Python, or Go1+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure, or another cloud service3+ years of experience in open source frameworks2+ years of experience in Agile practicesThis role is not eligible for sponsorship or immigration related support. Salary range for this role is $165,100 - $188,500 for New York City (Hybrid On-Site) and may vary by location. Incentive compensation and comprehensive benefits package included.
