Job Summary
Join Chartwells Higher Education at Connecticut College in New London, CT, as our Marketing Manager and be at the forefront of crafting and executing innovative marketing strategies tailored to our dining and catering programs! As our Marketing Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in driving growth, improving customer happiness, and elevating the Chartwells brand. You'll achieve this by curating outstanding events and experiences tailored to our clientele, ensuring every interaction leaves a lasting impression and fosters dedication to our dining and catering programs.
Key Responsibilities:
Orchestrate marketing promotions, meal plan campaigns, catering, and retail sales initiatives at dining locations.
Ensure adherence to Chartwells brand standards across all campus dining programs, focusing on brand identity, visual merchandising, and guest experience.
Improve communications and public relations efforts, managing guest feedback, press releases, client presentations, and website.
Build compelling marketing collateral, including brochures, newsletters, and promotional materials.
Lead captivating storytelling through social and digital media platforms.
Develop and implement dynamic marketing optimizing efficiency and effectiveness.
Monitor, analyze, and report on marketing activities and outcomes.
Foster strong client relationships to align our programs with their objectives, driving happiness and retention.
Provide support for new business acquisition and client retention efforts.
Perform other duties as assigned to support the efficient functioning of dining service operations.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing preferred.
Three or more years of marketing experience preferred - open to recent graduates!
Ability to confidently present to large groups.
Knowledge of merchandising and promotional strategies.
Excellent writing skills for effective communication.
Strong proficiency in digital literacy.
