We are seeking a seasoned HR Generalist to join our dynamic team in the professional services industry. This is a permanent position that offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a fast-paced, results-driven environment. The HR Generalist will be responsible for managing a broad spectrum of HR functions, including talent acquisition, employee relations, LOA, workers' compensation, scheduling, file management, and more. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HR basics, with a knack for developing and implementing effective HR strategies that support our organizational goals.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives that align with the overall business strategy.2. Manage the recruitment and selection process, including job advertisements, interviewing, background checks, references, and drug testing.3. Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital.4. Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures across the organization.5. Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.6. Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs.7. Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics.8. Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management.9. Manage complex employee relations casework including dispute resolutions, disciplinaries, grievances, absence, retirement, and redundancy.10. Advise managers on the terms and conditions of employment and knowledge share best practice with them.11. Develop HR policy and procedures to drive performance and mitigate disputes.12. Implement learning and development policy.13. Provide first-line advice on current and existing benefits for employees and managers.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field.2. Proven working experience as HR Manager or other HR Executive for at least 5 years.3. People-oriented and results-driven.4. Demonstrable experience with Human Resources metrics.5. Knowledge of HR systems and databases.6. Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills.7. Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.8. Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.9. In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices.10. Experience with creating a culture of engagement, collaboration, and teamwork.11. Comprehensive understanding of local, state, and federal laws regarding employment.12. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.13. HR credentials such as PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP are preferred.
