Position Purpose
Under the direction of the Leader this position provides secretarial support to manage office functions and coordinate the day-to-day business activities of the above referenced.
Nature and Scope
This position is responsible for communication, which is often of a confidential nature, and coordination of the day-to-day business activities for the Administrator and Administrative Department, as required.
The incumbent has daily internal contact with Renown Health System staff including corporate and hospital management and Administration along with their staff, physicians, vendors and other healthcare organizations, vendors and regulatory agencies.
The major challenges for this position are organization and communication, due to the wide diversification in areas of responsibility and the support necessary for the Administrator, including back-up support for various Directors/Managers. In addition, the incumbent is challenged to provide scheduling of meetings, answer busy phones, arrange travel, prioritize responsibilities, maximize word processing and other office equipment, prepare financial, statistical and budgetary reports, and promote an efficient and productive office environment.
This position does not provide patient care.

Minimum Qualifications
Requirements - Required and/or Preferred

Education:Must have working-level knowledge of the English language, including reading, writing and speaking English. Preference will be given to applicants who have completed college or business school courses in secretarial science.
Experience:Minimum three years of responsible secretarial and computer experience. Applicants with an office management background will be given preference. Notary Public preferred.

Computer / Typing:Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and Word and have the ability to use the computer to complete online learning requirements for job-specific competencies, access online forms and policies, complete online benefits enrollment, etc.i
