As a Program Manager within our Test & Evaluation Program Team, you will be responsible for planning, integrating, and executing one or more Test & Evaluation programs/projects on the Spaceship Delta Program.

Test & Evaluation programs/projects require delivery of test results for a variety of engineering disciplines; including, but not limited to structures, materials, mechanical systems, avionics, and flight controls.Your responsibilities will include :Build and lead a Test & Evaluation Team to deliver products that achieve technical, cost, and schedule objectives.Overall responsibility for developing program plans, including baselining, and execution within the approved baseline cost, schedule, and scope. This includes accountability for developing a cross-functional team to ensure programs are executed by the gated product life cycle and Program Management processes guaranteeing the achievement of program and business goals.Leveraging your experience to help the Virgin Galactic team develop and deploy program processes aligned with Program Management best practicesCollaborate with other organizations across the company (Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Business/Cost Management, Quality, etc) as required to ensure execution of program statement of work.Regularly report to executive leadership, internal and external customers, and the wider organization the team’s performance in the areas of quality, scope, cost, and scheduleThis position reports to the Test & Evaluation Program Director on the Spaceship Delta program.What you bring :Minimum of a B.S. in Engineering or technical discipline from an accredited universityMinimum 7 years of experience with the design, development, integration, and testing of aerospace systems productsDemonstrated success managing aerospace projects ideally with a focus on Supplier Project Management.Preferred Skills: :PMP CertificationPrimavera (P6) ExperienceAerospace test practices include component acceptance and qualification, structural validation, environmental testing, instrumentation, and data acquisition.Full Scale / Large Scale testing of primary structure in a FAR 23/25 or DoD environment.Hands-on experience with composite part fabrication and assembly processes.Aircraft systems development and/or testing per DO-254 and DO-178Environmental Qualification standards such as DO-160, MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-461/464, MIL-STD-704Six Sigma Training and CertificationThe annual U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $132,100.00–$201,550.00. The base pay actually offered will vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, location, and experience and take into account internal equity. Other forms of pay (e.g., bonus or long term incentive) may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
