OverviewThe Division of Enrollment Management at Rutgers University-New Brunswick (EMNB) is comprised of eight student-facing and administrative units: Undergraduate Admissions, Graduate Admissions, the Office of Financial Aid, the Office of the Registrar, and the One Stop Student Services Center, as well as business, information technology, and strategy and analytics administrative teams. The division employs over 100 full-time staff and an additional 200+ student employees to fulfill its mission.

It works at the intersection of administration and innovation to set enrollment strategy, foster student success, and inform university policy and practice. Posting SummaryRutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Senior Admissions Officer, Recruitment & Outreach for the Undergraduate Admissions - NB department. This posaition reports to the Senior Associate Director for Recruitment & Outreach.
Among the key duties of the position are the following:
Plans and implements a full range of recruitment & yield activities for the transfer student population.Oversees the planning of key programming, including visits, fairs, panels, receptions, and other programs directed towards the student, school counselor, and other educator populations.Oversees budget and personnel with direct supervision of professional aligned staff.

Ability to be highly motivated and imaginative.Ability to handle a fast-paced environment and varied responsibilities.Outstanding organization, writing, and public speaking skills.Abiltiy to work well individually as well as on a team.Ability to represent the university professionally and enthusiastically.Must understand the communication needs of a variety of external constituencies and adapt university messages so that they resonate with varied audiences while supporting the Rutgers brand.Ability to manage both a budget and personnel.

Physical Demands and Work Environment
Occasional lifting of heavy boxes containing recruitment material.Some late nights and weekends is required.
