The Network Administrator I at Cleo is responsible for managing, maintaining, and securing an organization's computer networks. Install, configure, and support the organization's networks (e.g., LAN, WAN). Maintain systems, applications, security, and network configurations. Maintain all firewalls, switch stacks, switches, routers, and network hardware. Monitor network performance, conduct analysis/testing, and ensure secure and reliable operation. Managefirewalland backup solutions, resolve connectivity issues and service disruptions, test the network for weaknesses, and create andmaintaina disaster recovery plan. Evaluate new network systems and applications and recommend upgrades, patches, new applications, and equipment. Provide technical support and guidance to users. Create andmaintaindetailed documentation of network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.

What You Will Be Doing

Network Monitoring and Maintenance

Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues.

Conduct regular checks on network equipment to ensure optimal functionality.

User Support and Troubleshooting

Provide technical support to users regarding network access and issues.

Assist in diagnosing and resolving connectivity problems.

Configuration Management

Set up and configure network devices such as routers, switches, and firewalls.

Manage network configurations and documentation for consistency and compliance.

Security Management

Implement security protocols to safeguard network integrity.

Monitor for security breaches and respond to incidents as they occur.

Documentation and Reporting

Maintain accurate records of network configurations, changes, and incidents.

Prepare reports on network performance and issues for management.

Collaboration with IT Team

Work closely with other IT team members to support SaaS applications and infrastructure.

Assist in the deployment of new software and updates.

User Access Management

Manage user access and permissions for network resources.

Ensure compliance with company policies regarding data access.

Network Upgrades and Improvements

Participate in planning and implementing network upgrades and enhancements.

Research and recommend new technologies to improve network performance.

Backup and Disaster Recovery

Assist in the development and execution of backup and disaster recovery plans.

Ensure data integrity and availability in case of network failures.

Training and Development

Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in network administration.

Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.

Your Qualifications

Associates/bachelor's degree in information systems or other related field

3-5 years of Networking experience
