The YMCA of Pierce and Kitsap Counties is seeking a *Custodian * to join our team! * *

The Custodian performs custodial duties required to maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment of the YMCA location. Assists the facilities director in supervising custodians. Provides a quality experience to members focused on YMCA core values: honesty, respect, responsibility, and caring.
*Key Responsibilities: *
Interior cleaning including, but not limited to, vacuuming carpets, cleaning windows, cleaning spills, sweeping or mopping floors, removing scuff marks from walls and floors, cleaning bathrooms and locker rooms, gum removal, dusting, odor control, and trash removal.Replace soap, towels, and other supplies.Assist other departments and branches as needed for ongoing or special events.Record and report all needed repairs and additional cleaning needs on assignment list. Report to supervisor conditions that require an immediate response. Repair and clean as directed.Ensure YMCA building and property is secure during shift and report incidents and hazardous conditions to supervisor.Operate all equipment in a safe and proper manner.Use proper techniques and procedures, and maintain a clean work area to ensure safe working practices and environment.

*Wage: * $16.80 to $18.80 per hour, depending on qualifications
Hours: Full-Time, Up to 40 hours per week
Schedule Details: Typical schedule is 4:00PM to 1:00AM
