Senior Scientific Program Manager

Technical Requirements:Scientific Program Manager* Provide expertise needed to assist with the design and implementation of internal policies and procedures related to the organization's Safety and Biosurety programs.* Monitors NIH policies and procedures and notifies leadership of changes that impact internal policies and procedures.* Analyze current policies and procedures and suggest improvements.* Analyze current programs and propose improvements or new initiatives to the FTL.* As appropriate assist in preparing/ developing future strategic plan.* Collaborate with upper management and prepare reports to keep them updated on new and ongoing programs and activities.* Prepare and provide educational materials to staff.* Work closely with senior leadership and management to develop new initiatives that further the goals as outlined in the strategic plan.* Conduct pre-screening for new IRF staff entering the Safety and Biosurety programs.* Complete an assessment regarding qualifications for continued participation in the Safety and Biosurety programs.* Report findings from pre-screenings and assessments to the federal task leader.
