Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems is seeking a Summer 2025 Operations Intern. In this role, you will be in close coordination with Operations leadership and support teams, you will support tracking of cost reduction initiatives, database management, and planning for the implementation of pipeline ideas. You will gain exposure into Operations across Sub and Final Assembly and Flight Operations, assisting with solving problems and incorporating those solutions into implementation plans. The successful candidate will have experience with assignments that will be in a cross-functional team environment encompassing a full range of product / project management activities including problem solving, team communication, planning, presentation, and assisting with implementing projects. Seeking highly motivated individual to work with Operations on specific assignments related to affordability, production related project management. Must be a US Citizen.
Basic Qualifications:
- Pursing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Quality, Finance, Industrial and Project Engineering or related fields
- Strong organizational skills including attention to detail
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications, including proficiency in Excel and Power Point
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills coupled with being a team player
- Must be a US Citizen
Desired Skills:
- Comprehension of analytical tools, workflow time sturdy, and process balancing
- Proficient with databases, data mining, and data analysis
- Some knowledge of ERP

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
