At Veo, we are on a mission to end car dependency by making clean transportation accessible to all and advancing the next generation of fully electric micromobility systems. Our fleets are constantly evolving and feature a range of vehicles - from pedal and electric bicycles, to standing and seated e-scooters, e-cargo bikes, and ADA accessible devices. Job Summary
As Veo's Chief Financial Officer, you will be responsible for leading strategic financial planning, accounting, and investor relations in a fast-paced and high-growth environment. You will work in close partnership with the Co-Founders and the Executive Leadership Team in developing and executing a financial plan in a dynamic micromobility industry. With your strong background in financial leadership at high growth startups, proven success with fundraising and investor relations, and your deep understanding of the financial aspects of operations based companies - you will work to ensure the long-term financial health and success of the company as we scale our business to new heights.
Responsibilities:
Capital Raising and Investor RelationsLead and manage capital raising efforts to secure funding from venture capital, private equity, family offices, and international funds.Develop and present the company's strategic narrative, detailed financial models, business plans, and pitch decks to investors.Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with investors, key stakeholders, and broader investment community, providing regular updates on financial performance and company progress.Negotiate terms and structure deals to align with the company's strategic goals.Ensure compliance with all financial reporting requirements and regulations related to fundraising and investor communications.Financial Strategy and Planning
Develop and execute a comprehensive financial strategy aligned with Veo's short-term and long-term goals, with a focus on sustainable growth and value creation.Lead the company-wide budgeting and forecasting process to ensure alignment with strategic objectives and the company's board of directors.Develop comprehensive financial models to support business decisions and evaluate financial performance.Monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying variances and implementing corrective actions.Financial Analysis and Reporting
Develop comprehensive financial models to support business decisions and evaluate financial performance on a regular and ongoing basis.Prepare and present clear and concise financial reports to the leadership team, board of directors, and investors.Collaborate with the leadership team to develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics that align with our mission and values.Strategic Leadership
Lead, develop and mentor the finance and accounting team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.Drive financial strategy, including pricing, cost management, and capital allocation.Evaluate and execute mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic initiatives in close collaboration with the Executive Leadership Team. Manage financial due diligence and integration planning.Foster a culture of financial responsibility, transparency, and accountability throughout the organization.Collaborate with the leadership team to develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics that align with our mission and values.Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.Minimum of 10 years of progressive financial leadership experience, with at least 5 years as a CFO or in a senior financial role within a high-growth startup environment.Proven success in raising significant capital from late-stage private equity, family offices, institutional investors, and international funds.Strong expertise in financial planning, modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.In-depth knowledge of financial regulations, accounting standards, and reporting requirements.Exceptional strategic thinking, analytical skills, and business acumen.Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.Demonstrated ability to build,lead and inspire a high-performing finance team.Compensation & Benefits:

Full Range of Benefits .Veo is a total compensation company, and pay is determined by geographic cost of labor and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training - so not all candidates will be eligible for the upper end of the salary range.Our total cash compensation package, which includes base and bonus potential, for this role ranges from $250,000 to $320,000 per year.Unlimited PTOCompetitive Benefits Package (Medical, Dental, Vision, Short Term Disability and more!)401k with 3% matchOpportunity to work in a fast-paced technology company
