Project Developer - Utility Scale Solar & Energy StorageLocation:

Project Developer
will be responsible for overseeing the development and management of a multi-gigawatt portfolio of solar and energy storage projects in the CAISO and WECC markets. This role will involve leading development efforts through engagement with key stakeholders, including landowners, community leaders, utilities, and environmental organizations.Essential Job Functions:Build and maintain relationships with landowners, community leaders, and environmental organizations to facilitate the development process.Manage all phases of solar project development, from feasibility studies to the start of construction.Oversee and collaborate with third-party consultants and development partners to ensure project milestones are met.Identify and develop economically viable solar and energy storage projects.Ensure project timelines, budgets, and scopes of work are adhered to, and manage critical path tasks effectively.Stay informed about market trends and renewable energy opportunities that impact project development and competitiveness.Work closely with the development team, including collaborating with international offices.Perform other duties as needed to support the project development process.Requirements:Familiarity with the solar and/or energy storage markets in the Western U.S.Basic knowledge of land lease/purchase agreements and strong negotiation skills.Strong project management skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues while keeping critical tasks on track.Experience managing proposal processes for RFPs in relevant territories.Understanding of renewable energy market trends and how they affect project development.Self-driven and capable of working independently as well as within a team.Ability to adapt to fast-paced environments and manage multiple priorities.Excellent communication, problem-solving, project planning, and time management skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel).Education/Experience:At least 2 years of experience in project development, preferably within the solar, renewable energy, or real estate development sectors.A Bachelor's degree with a strong academic record from a leading institution.Prior experience with top renewable energy companies is preferred.Feel free to reach out to me at harsh.shah@ OR (323) 405-8933 for any further clarifications.
