Peraton is seeking a
ServiceNow Architect SME
to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This individual will provide expertise in the design, development, and implementation of ServiceNow solutions that meet the business needs of the organization. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders to understand requirements, creating architectural designs, and ensuring the platform's scalability, security, and performance.The ideal candidate will support the Department of Homeland Security (DHS)/ Transportation Security Administration (TSA) customer.
Day to Day Work Responsibilities:Lead the design of scalable and sustainable ServiceNow solutions, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture standards and best practices.
Establish and enforce governance practices around platform use, security, and data integrity.Oversee customizations, integrations, and enhancements of ServiceNow applications, including IT Service Management (ITSM), IT Operations Management (ITOM), IT Asset Management (ITAM), and other modules.Work closely with business leaders and IT teams to gather requirements, define functional and technical specifications, and deliver robust ServiceNow solutions.Continuously monitor and optimize the performance of the ServiceNow platform, ensuring it operates efficiently at scale.Mentor and provide technical guidance to developers and junior architects, promoting knowledge sharing and development best practices.Lead the integration of ServiceNow with other enterprise systems, including CRM, ERP, and third-party applications.Manage the technical aspects of ServiceNow implementation projects, providing oversight for timelines, quality assurance, and deliverables.Ensure all solutions comply with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices for security and data privacy.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:U.S. Citizenship required; Must have the ability to obtain a DHS Entrance on Duty (EOD) clearance.Bachelor's degree and 16 years' experience or Master's degree and 14 years' experience or HS diploma/equivalent and 20 years' experience.Extensive experience with the ServiceNow platform, including configuration, customization, and development.Proficiency in scripting languages such as JavaScript, GlideScript, and Jelly.Strong understanding of ITIL processes and best practices.Experience with ServiceNow integrations, APIs, and web services.ServiceNow Certified System Administrator.ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) in at least one module (e.g., ITSM, ITOM).
