Overview

CORT Events is seeking an experienced, full-time outside sales professional from the hospitality industry who is proficient in both hunting and account management, enjoys networking, and has an eye for design and details.The Events Account Executive develops business relationships and grows revenue by serving as a brand ambassador and event rental industry expert. We serve as trusted advisors to our customers who need short-term rental furniture for hotel, corporate, sporting, marketing or other events.This is an outside sales position and could include driving up to 5 days/week. Minimal overnight travel required.Pay:

Base salary $50,000 - $60,000 / per year, plus commission with potential OTE of $100,000 - $150,000 a year.What We Offer

Achieve market share growth and meet monthly sales goals through prospecting for new business, identifying ways to grow existing relationships, and promoting new products or servicesNetwork and build relationships through attending industry events, entertaining clients, and representing CORT by serving on committees or industry panelsCollaborate with sales support, operations and asset management teams to ensure successful events and seamless client experiencesMaintain accurate account records in Salesforce and work pipeline through full sales cycleLeverage virtual tools, social media, design platforms, and event space planning softwarePresent Value Based Solutions to key decision makers both in person and virtuallyTake a collaborative sales approach, working with clients on events from start to finishServe as a product knowledge expertPresent design ideasProblem solve and offer creative solutionsEnsure successful deliveriesQualifications

3 years outside sales experience at a minimumStrong CRM experience, Salesforce preferredExperience with floorplan design software such as AllSeated is a plusPrevious sales experience in the hospitality/events industry to include experience with ILEA (International Live Events Association), NACE (National Association of Catering Executives) and MPI (Meeting Professionals International)Exceptional presentation, problem solving, and customer service skillsSolid time management and self-organizational ability; Self-motivated
