We have an exciting opportunity for a
Talent Acquisition Specialist
to join our HR team in
Knoxville, TN .
The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying, attracting, and hiring top talent to meet the company's current and future hiring needs. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will work closely with hiring managers to understand staffing requirements, develop effective recruitment strategies, and ensure a smooth candidate experience from sourcing to onboarding.
If selected you will:
Full-Cycle Recruitment : Manage the full recruitment life cycle for a variety of roles, from entry-level to senior positions, including sourcing, screening, and negotiating offers.
Collaborate with Hiring Managers : Partner with hiring managers to understand specific hiring needs and create tailored recruitment strategies.
Source Top Talent : Proactively source candidates using a variety of channels, including job boards, social media platforms, and employee referrals.
Build Talent Pipelines : Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future openings by staying connected with key talent.
Employer Branding : Promote the company's brand as an employer of choice by creating engaging content, participating in job fairs, and utilizing social media to attract talent.
Candidate Experience : Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process by providing timely communication, clear feedback, and personalized support.
Screen and Interview : Conduct thorough screening interviews to evaluate candidates' qualifications, skills, cultural fit, and alignment with the company's values.
Data-Driven Decisions : Use recruitment metrics and reports to track hiring progress and improve processes. Make data-driven decisions to enhance recruitment strategies.
Offer Negotiation and Onboarding : Extend offers, negotiate compensation packages, and collaborate with HR team members to ensure a seamless onboarding experience for new hires.
Process Documentation : Create and maintain comprehensive recruitment process documents, ensuring that hiring procedures, interview protocols, and onboarding guidelines are clearly defined, updated, and accessible to all stakeholders.
Oversee Interns : Manage and mentor recruitment interns, providing guidance, assigning tasks, and ensuring they gain valuable experience while supporting the recruitment process.
Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
2+ years of experience in talent acquisition, recruitment, sales, or a similar role.
Strong understanding of full-cycle recruiting and various sourcing techniques.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and build relationships with candidates and hiring managers.
Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruiting tools such as LinkedIn, Indeed, and other job boards.
High level of organization, professionalism, and confidentiality.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification in HR (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is an advantage.
Experience in recruiting for specialized roles in Aerospace Engineering
