Job Description
Operation OversightOversee daily transportation operations, including Over-the-road, Dedicate service, and last-mile delivery to ensure efficiency and accuracyCommunicate with the warehouse team in managing and overseeing all warehouse functions, safety practices, facilities maintenance, and ensuring the smoothoperation of all activitiesMonitor Operations KPIs and ensure with good in shape
Team LeadershipEstablish performance goals for the team to ensure required levels of productivity, inventory precision, quality and organizational objectivesDevelop and execute long-term operational strategies aligned with organizationalobjectivesDevelop cross-departmental relationships and collaborate closely with SCM, Compliance, Accounting, and other subsidiaries.Conduct regular team meetings and provide clear communication channels foraddressing performance feedback
Cost ControlDevelop and manage the budget, including labor, equipment, supplies, and maintenance costsIdentify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to reduce operational expensesMonitor and control operating costs within budgetary constraintsConduct and lead regular RFP process
Reporting and Data AnalysisGenerate regular reports on operations performance, including key performance indicatorsEstablish detailed reports on inventory levels, order accuracy and productivityUse data analysis to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement
Continuous ImprovementDrive improvement initiatives to enhance logistics efficiency and productivityImprove service quality, such as renegotiating the vendor contracts, streamlining processes, implementing efficient resource allocation strategiesImplement ongoing evaluations and changes aligned with industry best practices and technological advancements for equipment, safety, facilities, and systems
Job QualificationBachelor's Degree or above is preferred: Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Operation ManagementProven track record of success in supply chain, transportation, and/or logistics operations, with at least 8 years of managerial experiencePrior experience in WMS, TMS. ERP or related systems can be advantageousExperience with OSHA complianceExperience with Property and Casualty claim management will be plusValid Driver's LicenseProficiency with computers including Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point, etc.Data DrivenIn-depth knowledge of logistics regulations, safety standards, and compliance requirementsKnowledge in DOT regulationFDA, HACCP regulation or food related complianceBilingual - Korean and English is preferredStrong Leadership, Interpersonal, and Communication SkillsGood Management of Complaints
