ABOUT THE ROLE
The Senior Accountant will provide accounting support for the Marketing Department. This position will analyze spend, recommend opportunities to be more cost effective, and will support select areas of the annual forecast and project future spend. Additionally, this position will work closely with other members of the Business Management team as well as Marketing Officers, Directors and Managers to ensure financial best practices and contractual obligations are maintained.
This position reports into our Corporate Headquarters in St. Louis, MO with a hybrid schedule available(two days per week in office minimum for team collaboration, meetings, and training).

Responsibilities
We are hiring now for immediate openings. Responsibilities include:
- Analyze monthly activity and assist with financial commitments, vendor spend, and research tax credits
- Train junior team members on select financial schedules and invoice processing protocols
- Analyze Marketing department spend and recommend opportunities to be more cost effective
- Support select areas of the annual forecast and projection adjustments process
- Develop ad hoc reports to analyze expenses
- Identify and implement process and accounting schedule improvements
- Help develop and implement strong financial internal controls by balancing the costs and benefits of such controls
- Assist with special projects and ad hoc reporting, including financial presentations and quarterly financial updates

Qualifications
Minimum :
- Must have Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
- Must have a minimum of 2 years related experience (i.e. marketing, accounting, financial analysis, etc.)
- Must have at least intermediate proficiency using Microsoft Excel
- Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
Preferred :
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA)
- Master’s Degree
