Century Group is partnering with a client who is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $90,000 to $100,000 per year.

Job Responsibilities:Generate periodic reports for internal and external partners, including property performance reports and budget variances.Oversee the accounting for real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, and development.Identify opportunities for process improvements in accounting procedures and implement best practices.Manage accounts payable and receivable for corporate and property-related expenses and revenues.Monitor and analyze budget performance, identifying variances and providing recommendations for adjustments.Reconcile general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies.Assist in the development of annual budgets and forecasts for real estate properties.Review financial statements for real estate properties, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.Coordinate with external CPAs during annual tax preparation and assist in preparation of tax packages.Collaborate with property managers, asset managers, and other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and smooth financial operations.Qualifications/Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.2-4 years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or public accounting environment.Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process.Proficiency with Microsoft Excel skills, including the use of advanced functions and pivot tables.Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of work.Ability to effectively communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders.Effective organizational and time management skills.High ethical standards and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity in financial reporting.REF #49272#LI-POST#ZR
