Seeking experienced candidate with the ability to hit the ground running.Why join us?Benefits, PTO, 401KJob DetailsJob Details:Our law firm is seeking a dynamic and experienced Construction Litigation Associate. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of the legal industry, specifically in the construction litigation sector. They will be responsible for managing complex construction disputes, providing legal advice, and representing our clients in court. This role requires exceptional research skills, the ability to formulate strategic legal opinions, and the expertise to handle all aspects of trial practice. Responsibilities: Manage and oversee all phases of construction litigation cases from discovery through trial. Conduct in-depth legal research and analysis to support case preparation and strategy development. Draft and review legal documents including pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests and responses, and settlement agreements. Provide strategic legal advice and guidance to clients on potential litigation risks and dispute resolution strategies. Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and their interests are protected. Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure effective case management. Stay current on legal trends and developments in construction litigation to provide informed advice to clients.Qualifications: Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school. Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in construction litigation. Active member of the Texas state bar in good standing. Proven experience in dispute resolution and trial practice. Demonstrated ability to draft and interpret legal opinions. Strong skills in legal research and the ability to handle appellate work. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate complex legal concepts clearly and effectively. Strong negotiation skills with a track record of successful dispute resolution. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Must be self-motivated, able to work independently, and maintain a high level of confidentiality. Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
