is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Nursing (DON) to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our nursing department, ensuring the highest quality of care for our residents.
Responsibilities:Provide leadership and direction to nursing staff, including RNs, LPNs, CNAs, and other caregivers.Develop, implement, and monitor nursing care plans that meet resident needs and regulatory requirements.Oversee the hiring, training, and development of nursing staff.Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations governing skilled nursing facilities.Develop and manage the nursing department budget.Collaborate with physicians, therapists, social workers, and other members of the healthcare team.Advocate for residents and their families.Lead continuous quality improvement (CQI) initiatives to ensure the delivery of exceptional care.Maintain a positive and professional work environment.Qualifications:
Master's degree in Nursing or Healthcare Administration (preferred); Bachelor's degree in Nursing required.Current and active RN license.Minimum of five years of experience in a leadership role within a skilled nursing facility.Strong understanding of skilled nursing regulations and best practices.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.Proven ability to manage staff, budgets, and time effectively.Commitment to resident-centered care.Compassionate and patient demeanor.
