Job Description
As the Director of Nursing, you will play a crucial role in overseeing all clinical operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and fostering a culture of excellence. Your responsibilities will include:Clinical Leadership:
Oversee the development, implementation, and evaluation of clinical policies, procedures, and standards of care.Team Management:
Recruit, hire, train, and supervise a team of skilled nursing professionals, including RNs, LPNs, and home health aides.Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local regulations, including Medicare, Medicaid, and Joint Commission standards.Quality Assurance:
Implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.Patient Care:
Provide direct patient care as needed and collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to develop comprehensive care plans.Financial Management:
Monitor and manage the department's budget to ensure efficient utilization of resources.Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) required. Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) preferred.Licensure:
Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indianna.Experience:
Minimum of 4 years of experience in home health nursing, including 4-5 years of leadership experience.Knowledge:
Strong understanding of home health regulations, reimbursement methodologies, and quality improvement principles.Skills:
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with staff, patients, and physicians.Benefits
