Material Handler at Battelle Energy Alliance dba Idaho National Labora in Idaho Falls, Idaho, United States Job Description Idaho National Laboratory is hiring a Material Handler to work in our Supply Operations department. Our team works a 410 schedule located out of our Materials and Fuels Complex (MFC) facility with every Friday off. You will manage the INL stock and spares inventory at MFC to ensure compliance and the accuracy of inventory management system. Responsibilities Include: Track and manage inventory usage for reordering. Submit purchase requisitions and collaborate with procurement to meet customer deliverables. Track shelf-life of items for appropriate disposal path and collaborate with customers for reordering. Complete appropriate steps and verification for setting up new CAT ID's. Submit material requests and issue complete counter issues. Verify material availability and pick/stage material to work orders. Process all inventory returns when material is not consumed. Store all items in compliance within INL quality requirements. Handle and store hazardous items within INL requirements. Coordinate deliveries with customer and receiving/delivery subcontractor using the INL SRBT tracking system to ensure traceability and verification of deliveries. Resolve discrepancies as they arise. Verify receipt of material from purchase orders and put away all items in appropriate warehouse locations. Handle/move material manually or with forklifts or other material handling equipment safely. Support INL internal audit teams to complete annual inventory audit. Identify corrective actions and implement process improvements to ensure inventory accountability. Coordinate with INL crafts and customers to return stock/spare parts for repairs or ensure preventative maintenance (PM's) are completed of inventory items while maintaining traceability. Provide support to INL tool cribs and kitting and staging areas with ordering, delivering and issuing of material and technical support within the inventory management system. Maintain hazardous gas cylinder inventory and delivery. Minimum Requirements: High school diploma, or equivalent, and the following: 10 years of experience, in inventory management and warehouse management. 6 years of experience, using inventory control software 6 years of experience, using indoor and outdoor counterbalance forklifts This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy 'Q' clearance, which requires US Citizenship. Job Information: The pay for this position is $32.30/hour. (Rate can vary based upon individual work location, clearances, and qualifications. Rates are accurate for current posting and subject to change. These are bargaining unit positions.)
