Start Date: ASAP (4 weeks from offer for compliance requirements) Shift: 3x12 Night (7pm-7:30am) Ratios: 8:1 days; 13:1 nights Home Health or LTC exp preferred. Travel experience is preferred. 1 year of Epic experience is preferred. First-Timers Accepted: Yes. Weekend Requirement: TBD Open to accommodating block schedule: TBD Locals Accepted: No. Pending License Accepted: Yes, but without an AK license they have to be booked 10-12 weeks out. Job Requirements Long Term Care RN with preferred experience in Home Health or LTC. Traveler's statement of health. Schedule Information Night Shift: 7pm-7:30am 3x12 hour shifts Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week. Unit Specific Information Top 10 Diagnosis/Procedures: CVA, Dementia, RA, Afib, Hip fx, Parkinsons, BKA, PNA, COPD, Hunntington's dx. Common Equipment: Hoyer lift, SARA lift, tube feeding pump, IV pump. Additional Details This is an LTC unit; functions more like an LTAC or step-down unit to MedSurg. We do not take trach patients, acute rehab, TPN, Bi-PAP, etc. We use a Pyxis medication system to load our Work Stations on Wheels. Epic designed as an acute care EMR and modified to accommodate LTC, making charting labor-intensive.
