Travel Nurse RN - Med Surg / Telemetry - $2,008 per week

Certification Details BLS - Basic Life Support State License 1 Verification Job Details Registered Nurse position available in Ketchikan, Alaska. LONG TERM CARE RN specialization preferred. Responsibilities include providing care in an LTC unit that functions similarly to an LTAC or step-down unit to MedSurg. The unit does not cater to trach patients, acute rehab, TPN, Bi-PAP, etc., and uses a Pyxis medication system. Job Requirements Start Date: ASAP (4 weeks from offer for compliance requirements), BLS certification required, Travel experience preferred. 1 year of Epic experience preferred. Open to first-time travelers. May need to float within scope. No on-call requirements. Locals not accepted. Schedule Information Shift: 3x12 Days (7am-7:30pm). Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week. Unit Specific Information Top 10 Diagnosis/Procedures: CVA, Dementia, RA, Afib, Hip fx, Parkinsons, BKA, PNA, COPD, Huntington's dx. Common Equipment: Hoyer lift, SARA lift, tube feeding pump, IV pump. Additional Details Pending License Accepted with conditions, No RTO allowed for 8 week contract. Must sign SS verification release.
