Princeton Tool, a Princeton Precision Group company is seeking an experienced and dedicated CNC Grind Machinist. The CNC

Grind Machinist will be able to demonstrate a proven track record of CNC machining processes holding tolerances of+/- .0001, machining and programming complex parts and comfort with creep feed surface grinding processes. The CNC

Grind Machinist will set up, program, and operate surface grinding machines to create smooth surfaces compliant to customer specifications.

Requirements:

Setup, operate, and program CNC creep feed grinderVerify machine settings prior to operationFollow specifications according to customer or internal work instructionsPerform precision deburr using handpiece and scopePerform 1st part, in-process, and last piece inspection using various gauges, comparator, and / or CMMCollect and document measurement dataPerform basic machine maintenance according to PM scheduleManage consumables inventoryMaintain continuity among shifts by documenting and communicating actionsMake tooling design and optimization recommendationsTroubleshoot and correct tool or equipment issuesMaintain clean and organized workspaceTrain and mentor additional personnel to cover increasing productionGrind complex features maintaining +/- .0001 in high temp resistant alloysKnowledge, skills, and abilitiesMust be able to demonstrate a solid understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancingUnderstanding of basic fixture and tool designAbility to perform basic shop math and computer (PC) literacyAbility and willingness to work in a team or minimally supervised settingAbility to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skillsWillingness to contribute to organizational goals with a creative, positive, and collaborative approach to projectsHigh school diploma or equivalent required3+ years of relevant CNC surface grinding experienceProven track record with consistent industry applicable employmentProvide portfolio or examples of workWillingness to demonstrate on-machine aptitudeWillingness to work overtime as requestedCompensationCompensation is based on the applicant's ability to demonstrate the necessary skills to perform this role
