Job Description
A Japanese grocery market is looking for a Store Manager in Torrance, CA.
**Also hiring in other locations such as Los Angeles and San Francisco area.**
The Store Manager will be responsible for overseeing the store operation as well as serving as Customer Service Representative.
Responsibilities
Maximizing profit in accordance with all company goals, policies, and procedures.Creating and promoting a friendly, professional store environment.Ensuring the store maintains excellent visual presentation/atmosphere at all times;making adjustments in accordance with customer's movements within the store.Ensuring proper and accurate inventory control and ordering appropriate amount of products.Holding supervisory responsibilities (coaching, scheduling shifts, day-to-day operation management, etc.) and overseeing performance of the staffs.Having ability to understand priorities and the sense of urgency of the business, adjusting directions and scheduling to meet the demands of the business.Job Requirements:
Availability to work 5 days a week, including evenings and weekends.More than 1 year of experience in retail is preferred. Managerial experience is a plus.Excellent communication/writing skills. Proficiency in Japanese is a plus but not required.Excellent organizational/ analytical skills.Ability to train staff effectively.Experience in using POS system, Microsoft office software.
