What makes this role important at Ipsos?
This position will function as part of the North American Corporate Finance team to support the Finance Vice President. The ideal candidate must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, be self-motivated and possess exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with relevant experience working in a corporate finance setting.
What you can expect to be doing:Assist Project Managers in the maintenance of project attributes, including conducting monthly financial project reviews to ensure accuracy and integrity of dataResponsible for the monthly accounting close (e.g. reviewing financials, pulling reports, etc.)Prepare monthly financial reporting packages and assist in the preparation of quarterly presentationsAssist with providing financial analysis and consulting to senior Finance leadershipLiaise with accounting department and Global contacts to manage assigned business unitsSupport Finance VP in managing the annual budget and quarterly forecast processesFinancial reporting: P&L, balance sheet and cash flow statementsPrepare regularly recurring reports on a monthly basisHelp in annual external audits gathering supporting documentation to provide auditorsAssist with preparation of monthly financial reporting including variance analysis of current period, year-to-date, and against budget/forecast.Lead training for all current and new staff on our financial systems for all businesses in scopeAd hoc reportingThis might be the job for you if you have:
3 + years' experience in corporate finance/FP&ADegree in Accounting or Finance a mustAdvanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPointFocused and proactive quick thinker, with the ability to work creatively and independently.Strong analytical and communication skills a mustData savvy with a strong attention to detail and accuracy

This is a hybrid position based out of our NYC office.

In accordance with NY/CO/CA/WA law, the estimated base salary range for this role is $85,000 to $95,000. Your final base salary will be determined based on several non-discriminatory factors which may include but are not limited to location, work experience, skills, knowledge, education and/or certifications.
