We are seeking a
Board Certified/Board Eligible Family Practice Physician
for a
locum tenens
position in an outpatient ambulatory setting near
Chehalis, WA . This is a great opportunity for a physician who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment with a diverse patient population.Position Details:Start Date:
November 4, 2024, or as soon as credentialedContract Duration:
13 weeks, with the possibility of extensionSchedule:
Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM40 hours per week with no on-call responsibilities
Patient Volume:
Up to 21 patients per day (newborns to geriatrics)Support Staff:
Dedicated medical assistant, receptionist, mental health therapists, dietitians, and pediatricians available onsiteProcedures:
Basic outpatient procedures (e.g., injections, IUD placement, minor wound care)EMR System:
EPIC (experience required)Requirements:Licensure:
Must hold an active Washington State medical license and DEAExperience:
Must have experience in community health settings, especially with vulnerable populations (migrants, refugees, etc.)Language Skills:
Spanish-speaking preferred but not requiredCertifications:
May require BLS or ACLS (to be discussed during credentialing)Background Check:
Must have a clean background with no malpractice historyVaccination Requirements:
COVID and flu vaccination required
