Job Description

A well-established boutique law firm is seeking a newly admitted attorney with an interest in transactional law to assist their settlement team. We are searching for a diligent and detail-oriented associate attorney with an interest in handling settlement negotiations. As a member of the settlement team, associates assist with ensuring compliance with state laws and regulations, reducing settlement risk, and streamlining the closing process. This role is ideal for someone looking to build expertise in transactional matters with a recognized practice.

Responsibilities:Assist in negotiating and finalizing settlementsDraft and review settlement agreements and transaction related documentsManage and assist in all aspects of settlement transactions, including document preparation, review, and final executionEnsure that all necessary legal documents are prepared and executed appropriately, funds are collected and disbursed to all the proper parties, and filing joint motions where necessaryCoordinate with clients, senior attorneys, and external parties to ensure smooth case resolutionProvide support on broader business transactions and legal issues as neededConduct legal research related to settlement issues and business mattersQualifications:

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law schoolAdmission to the California Bar0-2 years of experience, preferably with exposure to settlements, business transactions, and related matters is a plusExceptional communication skills, collaborates well with a team and othersExcellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneouslyProficiency in legal drafting and transactional document preparationA team-oriented mindset with a desire to learn and grow in a fast-paced environmentBenefits:
