Job Description

Event Services ManagerAt Accor, our engaging service and delicious cuisine make every special event a truly memorable affair, both within our distinctive surroundings and off-site. Be an ambassador for our exceptional offerings as Event Services Manager, where you will liaise between multiple departments to meet the needs - and exceed the expectations - of your clients.What you will be doing:Reporting to the Director of Event Services and Sales, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging serviceConfirm all event related information with clientsEstablish and maintain rapport with clients, prior to, during and post conference, encouraging repeat businessOrganize convention bookings from date of booking to departure, including meeting requirements, guest room requirements, guest room pickup, food & beverage and audio visualCreate floor plans for each event to ensure banquets and clients are in agreement prior to set upInitiate billing procedures, ensuring any deposits and/or credit applications are received with adequate information and within an acceptable time frameConduct pre-conference meetings with clients and pertinent departments to confirm all relevant details are communicatedConduct and/or attend daily meeting to review event contracts and ensure last minute changes are communicated with appropriate departmentsFollow departmental policies and proceduresFollow all safety policiesOther duties as assignedSalary range $85,000-$114,000 USD annuallyQualifications

Your experience and skills include:Previous leadership experience within a similar role requiredComputer literate in Microsoft Windows applications requiredUniversity/College degree in a related discipline preferredExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal requiredStrong interpersonal and problem-solving abilitiesHighly responsible & reliableAbility to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all timesPhysical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to):

Frequent standing and walking throughout shiftOccasional kneeling, pushing, pulling, liftingOccasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and rampsVisa Requirements:
