About The Job
LiveIntent is looking for an experienced, energetic, and proven
Sales Director
to join our team. The ideal candidate has significant advertising sales and social experience in digital media with a proven track record of winning new business and building relationships. You will be responsible for driving awareness, exposure, and performance strategies through LiveIntent’s offerings. You will be an integral part of our growing sales team on the East Coast. This is a NYC-based role.
Responsibilities
Drive revenue by leveraging established relationships focusing on upper mid-market while also proactively identifying opportunities to create new and impactful relationships; with a strong ability to respond to client needs with thoughtful, tailored, and highly effective proposals.Develop and execute a strategic revenue plan that achieves goals and grows market share through relationships with senior leaders and decision-makers at holding companies, agencies, and brands.Develop robust pipeline, category, and territory strategies.Deliver marketplace feedback and client challenges to improve sales products and create solutions utilizing LiveIntent’s offerings to help drive impact, growth, and meet KPIs.Collaborate with teams across the LiveIntent ecosystem to proactively drive the development of new opportunities.Serve as an ambassador for our brands in market, clearly explaining our unique value proposition and platform.Identify, monitor, and accurately forecast sales activity.Work cross-functionally with supporting teams: Account Managers, Optimizers, and Marketing.Participate in product roadmap build-out discussions based on client needs with product & engineering.Use knowledge of the relevant market and competitors to identify and develop the company’s unique selling propositions and differentiators.Qualifications
A minimum of 5 years digital advertising sales experience meeting or exceeding quota with an expertise in social media platforms.Deep experience working brand direct and not requiring the use of 3rd party DSP pipes to be successful.Hands-on experience with ad technologies, such as: Ad Servers, DSPs, SSPs, CDPs, DMPs, measurement vendors (e.g. fraud, viewability, etc.), and data providers.Understanding of how social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snap or other platforms, including their advertising strategies, targeting options and audience engagement a plus.Consultative selling skills with the ability to anticipate and overcome concerns by positioning value propositions in relation to client needs.Excellent communication skills; both verbal and written with the ability to collaborate with C-level stakeholders both internally and externally.Data-driven with excellent organizational skills and the ability to guide multiple projects simultaneously.Flexible, self-starting attitude; able to collaborate cross-functionally and communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels in the organization.About LiveIntent
