The Director of Sales for Ladies Intimates will lead profitable sales strategies and service efforts for the Full-Price Segment, targeting major department stores and key accounts. Full-Price sales experience is a must. Sports account/brand experience is a plus.
The primary focus will be on driving business growth, developing strong customer relationships, and identifying new opportunities. This role requires expertise in the intimates/apparel industry, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver effective business solutions and meet revenue goals.Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute strategic business plans to grow existing accounts and identify new business opportunities.Foster and maintain relationships with key accounts at all levels, from buyers to senior executives.Proactively identify growth opportunities ("white space") and develop strategic analysis for account expansion.Manage inventory forecasting, sales performance, and product flow to optimize profitability.Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities for key Delta brands.Implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets, drive market penetration, and maximize gross margin.Ensure effective communication and collaboration across departments, including Design, Merchandising, Production, and Marketing.Monitor weekly sales and inventory levels to ensure alignment with business goals.Lead account servicing efforts, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and resolving any service-related issues.Develop exclusive product offerings with accounts to meet consumer demand and increase market share.Provide detailed sales projections and competitive analysis to enhance market positioning and decision-making.Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field8+ years of sales experience in the apparel/intimates industry, with a focus on major department stores or national chainsStrong understanding of retail math, forecasting, and gross margin strategiesProven track record in developing and implementing successful business growth strategiesExceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skillsLeadership experience in managing and developing teamsHYBRID SCHEDULE:
