We’re redefining the future of entertainment and we’re ready for you to play a big part in that future too.DIRECTV is seeking an Ad Sales, Head of Agency Sales professional responsible for developing sales, upfronts, sales digital transformation, and go-to-market strategies for the DIRECTV Ad Sales Group. This executive will represent all DIRECTV advertising offerings to advertising agencies, inclusive of addressable, digital, linear, live sports, and pause ads. Specifically, this role will oversee the agency team across all verticals for the largest agencies including IPG, Dentsu, Publicis, WPP, OMG, Horizon, Havas, and Independent Agencies. In this role, you will be responsible for revenue goals, which includes growing the existing business as well as developing new business across all categories.The primary purpose of this position is to identify and develop key Ad Sales partnerships that drive significant incremental revenue. Specifically, this role will oversee the agency team across all verticals.Here's what you’ll do:Drive revenue for DIRECTV Ad Sales across all key agency partners by getting buy-in from senior agency leaders who can use their influence to push strategy and negotiate complex agreements at top management levels at the agency to create multi-faceted product partnerships across DIRECTV’s Ad Sales assets.Manage agency relations and deepen relationships with senior leaders.Grow a culture thriving, diverse, trained, and talented sellers and managers who are subject matter experts in their business and with their clients.Support growth across all products, with a specific concentration on digital transformation, addressable, cross-platform, programmatic, and new ad formats, by focusing on addressing customer needs thoughtfully using a data-driven and insights-first approach.Continue to build out subject matter expert teams and GTM strategies for each of DIRECTV’s established categories within the agencies.Work cross-functionally across all of Ad Sales and DIRECTV to represent sales.What you’ll need to be successful:Bachelor's Degree required. MBA or MSc Degree nice to have.10+ years of experience in the Advertising ecosystem with recent experience in the growth of Digital and Advanced TV.Highly skilled at operating in a collaborative, interdependent environment and working in an evolving business.Deep understanding of the addressable, digital, and programmatic advertising business.Extensive and relevant industry network that can accelerate activity within the Advanced TV ecosystem.Comprehensive knowledge of linear/digital advertising (including mobile and social).Outstanding communication skills in all forms: written, presentations, negotiations.This is a New York City, NY, based position that works both in-office (20%) and remotely.A career with us comes with big rewards:DIRECTV's compensation structure is designed to be market-competitive and fully supports efforts to attract and retain employees. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.The Base Salary range displayed below reflects the minimum and maximum target salary for the position and work location(s) listed in the job posting US Labor Market Zone(s).
