And everyone, in their own unique way, plays an important part, every day.The Program Director of the Youth and Family Outpatient Services team in Worcester provides management and clinical leadership to a school and office based clinical program consisting of a dedicated team of master's level clinicians, psychologists, and psychiatrists. This full time, 12-month position offers the opportunity to direct an exciting and vibrant program, a chance to collaborate with local and regional schools in helping improve the functioning of students and school personnel and help parents to interact more effectively with their children.The Program Director is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations at our Outpatient Clinic. Led by the Program Director, outpatient and school-based clinicians develop creative, strength based, and individualized strategies to help at risk clients address the challenges that interfere with optimal functioning and progress in school and at home. Community Healthlink staff use nurturing, culturally sensitive, evidence-based, and disciplined approaches to help at risk youth. We encourage our staff to work collaboratively with school staff, community providers, and families to support youth achieve their goals.Together with the Assistant Program Director, the Program Director also oversees the work of School based clinicians. These clinicians work with students, parents, and educators in several public and private schools within multiple school districts in Central Massachusetts. The goal of the School Support Services program is to provide therapy to students, and consultation, training, and support to professionals and parents as they learn to interact more effectively with children who are experiencing emotional and behavioral difficulties.Responsibilities:Oversee the operation of the Outpatient clinic and School-Based program. Provide direct oversight consistent with the administrative, programmatic and clinical polices of Community Healthlink Inc.
Manage the daily operations of the program in a manner consistent with the mission, values and policies of the organization.
Provide culturally competent clinical leadership to the program
Provide clinical and administrative supervision to staff and evaluate the performance of the staff.
Represent the program both within and outside the organization
Manage the program's case assignment, flow and system for clinical review of cases.
Assist the Director of Children's Outpatient Services in the recruitment of staff, management of the program budget, and monitoring staff productivity
Monitor staff's clinical and case management documentation
Liaise with the schools where school clinicians are assigned to ensure smooth operations
Respects diverse views and approaches, demonstrates Standards of Respect, and contributes to creating and maintaining an environment of professionalism, tolerance, civility and acceptance toward all employees, patients and visitors
Qualifications:Independently licensed, LICSW, LMHC or Licensed Psychologist with at least 2 years experience of management and clinical supervision
Therapy experience working with the youth required.
Demonstrated leadership skill and team building
Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational skills and sound clinical judgment required
Clinical experience with children and/or families
Strong writing skills
Must be able to use computer-based information system and electronic medical record
Familiar with "Best Practices" treatment modalities.
Bilingual/Bicultural Spanish speaking a plus
