Senior Brand Manager

The Senior Brand Manager is responsible for leading national Brand Marketing strategy and execution for a portfolio of products of Gruma-owned brands (Mission, Guerrero, etc.) to achieve business objectives. Manage internal team and external vendors including Marketing Agencies and packaging arthouses.
Responsibilities
Develop annual Brand strategy and plan to drive brand growth and market share. Lead execution of Marketing plans, including advertising, media, and promotion plans. Provide analytical insights to enable decision-making, including in-market programs and measure program effectiveness reporting and recommendations. Identify brand growth opportunities by effectively using market research and competitive intelligence. Work with Insights, Sales, and R&D team to innovate the product portfolio and meet consumer needs and preferences. Manage full product lifecycle from concept to launch through Stage Gate process including packaging, pricing, promotion, and distribution strategies. Develop and execute national Brand Marketing campaigns based on holidays and product launches. Partner with leading national brands to amplify campaigns with an emphasis on in-store display and coupon offers. Monitor and analyze Brand performance metrics, providing periodic reports and actionable insights to senior management. Work cross-functionally with internal business units including R&D, QA, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Supply Chain, and Marketing. Lead Marketing team and Agency partners in all aspects of relationship from brand development to creation of communications. Manage the assigned Marketing budget effectively to maximize ROI and achieve business objectives. Perform other Brand Marketing duties as assigned. Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and 8 years’ experience in brand management in CPG Marketing required. MBA strongly preferred but any equivalent combination of related education and/or experience may be considered for the above. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Proven track record of successful product launches and brand growth. Experience in developing and executing marketing strategies across various channels, including digital, social media, and traditional media. Leadership and team management experience, with the ability to inspire and develop a marketing team. Strong analytical skills and experience with market research and data-driven decision-making. Proficient on syndicated databases and metrics. Excellent project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Creative thinker with the ability to develop innovative marketing strategies. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners. Budget management with a proven track record meeting volume and profit targets. Required to work on-site with travel as required. Bilingual English and Spanish preferred.
