Industry/GTM Product Marketing Senior Manager
At Salesforce, our Product Marketers craft inspirational stories and deliver ground-breaking content to people around the world. We develop product messaging and positioning, go-to-market programs, campaigns, events, and sales enablement. Our success is defined by our ability to deliver relevant content that generates trials, sales pipeline, and ultimately, new customers. We are looking for a creative, motivated hybrid product/industry marketer to drive and deliver innovative product marketing to support Slack industries and go-to-marketing initiatives. In this role, you will be responsible for working cross-functionally with marketing, sales, and product teams to create messaging, positioning, content, use cases, sales tools, and event content.
Responsibilities & Impact
Design and execute industry and go-to-market strategies
Be the go-to-market expert for Product Marketing, working cross-functionally across Product Marketing, Enablement, Sales Strategy, and Distribution.
Develop and refine differentiated product and industry benefits, use cases, business outcomes, and demos to be used by the broader marketing and Sales organization
Create compelling omni-channel customer-facing content and sales assets
Drive PMM participation in sales programs, sales plays, and other pipeline generation activation
Develop, package, and deliver relevant sales tools and training material, making it easy for sales to understand our product offerings and key positioning.
Develop repeatable, scalable processes to enable sales teams and support our business partners.
Create, recruit, and produce content for Salesforce events such as Connections, Dreamforce, webinars, and 3rd party events
Required Skills:
7+ years of Product Marketing, Sales, or Go-To-Market background
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to strategize and craft compelling messaging and customer-facing content (presentations, demo scripting, web copy, etc.)
Establish good working relationships with cross-functional teams and align with global stakeholders
Collaborate with a willingness to drive hands-on tactical execution
Pick up and lead new projects even in the face of ambiguity
Experience will be evaluated based on alignment to the core competencies for the role (e.g. extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer work, etc.)
Preferred Skills
Industry Marketing Experience (preferably Financial Services)
Expertise in Salesforce products and/or other SaaS and B2B technology platforms
A natural collaborator with a willingness to drive hands-on tactical execution
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to establish excellent working relationships with cross-functional teams
Get-it-Done confidence to pick up and lead new projects even in the face of ambiguity
A winning attitude that inspires optimism, fun, and the desire to always be learning!
Experience with the Salesforce products and/or other SaaS and B2B technology platforms
