Candidates must have completed an ASTS (American Society of Transplant Surgeons) approved fellowship or will complete the fellowship by August 2025. Applicant's materials must list (pending) qualifications upon submission. Requirements include excellent clinical skills in transplantation, including significant experience in living donor liver transplantation and laparoscopic/robotic kidney donor procedures. The ideal candidate will also have experience in innovative areas such as use of the robotic platform for liver surgery and use of liver perfusion devices/normothermic regional perfusion.This position will also allow for further development of a career in either Health Sciences Research, translational research or basic research, with a potential for protected time to pursue research efforts. The successful candidate will be expected to further pursue independent research funding.Candidates must have recognized skills in the education of surgery residents and medical students and will be expected to be active participants in the Department's residency training and educational programs.The posted UC salary scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and step at appointment. See Table 5. The minimum base salary range for this position is $149,700 - $194,200. This position includes membership in the health sciences compensation plan which provides for eligibility for additional compensation.Please apply online at
