8 AM - 5 PMThe Safety Director must be able to emphasize the importance of safety across various roles in our shop and mills.Essential Functions:
Develop and maintain the company's Safety Program.Ensure compliance with ISNETWORLD, Aveta, Veriforce, Cognibox, NET DMR, and EMR.Facilitate Workers' Compensation processes in collaboration with Human Resources.Manage incident reports and investigations alongside HR.Act as a liaison with various mills and their personnel.Conduct weekly safety training sessions.Explore and implement new technologies to enhance compliance.Determine recordable and non-recordable accidents.Perform all duties safely and be willing to learn additional tasks as needed.Qualifications:
Ability to identify safety hazards and mitigate risks effectively.Strong communication skills to convey the importance of safety rules to employees.Experience training in OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 programs.Ability to follow instructions and communicate information clearly, both in writing and verbally.Capacity to work independently and collaboratively with a team.Our partner company offers vital benefits to support you and your career.
