DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Create complex, sustainable analytical model with a complete view of the clients by integrating data from multiple sources to enable AI/ML driven cross-sell product recommendations for existing banking clients and improve sales for the prospective banking clients leveraging advanced SQL and Python programming skills, BI tools like Alteryx or SAP HANA or SAP BI/BW or Redshift coupled with the knowledge of multivariate statistics, quantitative modeling, and advanced analytical methods (e.g. regression, classification, experimentation, and supervised machine learning as needed). Perform data discovery and data analytics to identify insights from data to improve existing financial products and decision making. Work on business outcomes through data and analytics, utilizing internal and external data. Collaborate with product managers, data architects, software engineers and business analysts, in building a company centric data product in a production environment which will be utilized by client-facing teams impacting revenue of the bank. Explain complicated data problems and solutions to the audiences across multiple levels of the banking organization that are not familiar with complex machine learning techniques. Work on data migration from legacy systems to improve systems performance and reliability.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, or related field of study plus 1 year of experience in the job offered or as Data Scientist, Business Analyst, Programmer Analyst, Data Consultant, or related occupation.
Skills Required: Requires experience in the following: building analytical data models that integrate disparate data sources; SQL; Python; Business Intelligence tools such as Alteryx or SAP HANA or SAP BI/BW or AWS Redshift; developing real-life quantitative models in a large-scale enterprise setting using advanced analytical methods, including multiple linear or logistic regression or clustering or anomaly detection; Data migration to the Cloud or alternate systems; developing AI/ML models; and automating data transformation processes in AWS.
