Maintain the e-Route Management Systems (eRMS) inventory cost and bill of materials system to ensure accurate product costing for manufactured and purchased for resale (PRF) inventory.
Reconcile Inventory in warehouse or truck routes.
Reconcile Balance Sheet support to the general ledger.
Review capital spending log for accuracy.
Assist with ERP system inputs for customer pricing in a tight schedule. Send cost and pricing reports out to sales and CEO.
Review daily ADP timekeeping for unpaired punches, input payroll data such as hours worked from approved documents. Assisting in the preparation of monthly financial statements for department heads. The report requires review and analysis to ensure accurate and note comments on significant variances.
Perform duties of accounts payable and accounts receivable on a rotating basis.
Assist with Treasury accounting with checking accounts, journal, and records for the profit sharing, 401(k) and Flex-125 plans.
Assist in audits during the year from CPA's, tax agencies, and insurance companies.
Assists with the development of company accounting policies by interacting with executives and department managers, studies and standardizes procedures to improve efficiency.
Process rents, broker, leases and bank loan payments.
Cross train on customer facing duties such as Customer order taking.
Thorough knowledge of all accounting department functions, processes, and US GAAP along with strong computer skills utilizing software such as Dynamics 365 Business Central and Excel. Must be an advanced level user in Excel.
Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
Prompt and regular attendance.
Other duties as assigned.
Skills Required:
The ability to read, write and comprehend in English. The ability to calculate basic math functions. The ability to communicate effectively with others.
College Degree or three to five years related accounting experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
