JOB SUMMARY:The Salesforce Developer will work as part of the skilled and passionate Textron Aviation CRM Team delivering business solutions that enable the global sales, support, and marketing teams. The position’s primary role will be to leverage Salesforce to solve business problems leveraging the latest technologies.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:Build, test, and deploy code within the Salesforce platform.Collaborate with other developers for brainstorming and writing code.Attend training classes and conduct research into both Salesforce and general development.Learn Salesforce development best-practices as well as when to use clicks or code.Collaborate in small teams to creatively solve complex and multi-dimensioned problems.Develop technical as well as process-based solutions addressing business needs.Work in-person in Wichita, Kansas with minimum travel for conferences or project rollouts.EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:Bachelor’s degree required in MIS, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business Administration, Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, or related technical field/coursework.Minimum 2 years relevant object-oriented programming experience required.Experience with Salesforce, JavaScript, Apex, Git, Visualforce or Lighting Components and Agile project management preferred.Salesforce Platform Developer I certification preferred.QUALIFICATIONS:Experience working as part of a development team to enhance existing functionality, deliver new features, and improve user experience and efficiencies.Understanding of relational databases and data management best practices.Ability to identify relevant information and explain technical information to a broad audience.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Experience with Microsoft Office.The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this job.
