Job DescriptionAffluent Card Analytics team is part of Card D&A which provides cutting edge analytical solutions and works closely with Card Product Leadership. The team utilizes Data Science, Machine Learning and Visualization capabilities to generate insights and work closely with the business to drive innovation and business impact.As a Lead Data Scientist within the Sapphire Products team, you will collaborate closely with Product Owners to provide crucial insights through descriptive, diagnostic, predictive, and prescriptive analytics. Your role will involve building consensus with Product Owners on the promotion of customer engagement by defining metrics, sourcing data, developing queries, and generating reports.Job ResponsibilitiesCreate data points using best practices to ensure high data quality and reduced redundancyRationalize complex normalized data sets allowing for ease of cross org consumptionTranslate data into meaningful insights and present a compelling story to stakeholders for decision makingBring in experience in the production, optimization and automation of recurrent reportsAnalyze travel-related data to understand customer behavior and trends across different channels.Monitor and assess the impact of guardrails on customer journeys to ensure a seamless booking experience.Identify key entry points in the customer journey and optimize them for improved conversion rates.Design and conduct experiments to measure the effectiveness of new features or changes in the travel booking flow.Collaborate with Product team, other Data & Analytics teams, and Channels team, to gain insights into customer behavior and preferences from an end-to-end experience.Develop and maintain Adobe Analytics dashboards to track key metrics and performance indicators.Utilize heatmaps and other visualization tools to identify areas of improvement in the user experience.Required Qualifications, Capabilities And SkillsBachelors degree in quantitative or related field with 8+ years of analytics experienceStrong Adobe Analytics knowledgeIntermediate knowledge of SQL, Alteryx and TableauExperience with Hadoop, Teradata, Oracle and SQL DBsAdept at explaining and converting complex concepts into digestible information to be consumed by audiences of varying levels of expertiseIntellectually curious and eager to learn new things with an eye for innovationHighly organized and able to prioritize multiple tasksGood written and oral communication skillsOperational business knowledge of processes, data, controls, and technology platformsPreferred Qualifications, Capabilities And SkillsFunctional industry experience in operations, marketing, credit/risk, technology or financeIntermediate knowledge of Machine LearningStrong SQL skills with the ability to pull data using multiple joins, sub-queries, and advanced functions in an enterprise-scale database environment (Teradata, Hadoop, AWS, etc.)Demonstrated experience with business intelligence and data wrangling tools such as SAS EG, SAS Viya, Python, Snowflake and Alteryx is keyExperience with visualization techniques for data analysis and presentation (Tableau preferred)Basic skills with JIRA, ConfluenceFamiliarity with Cloud (AWS, Snowflake) based data solutions and toolsABOUT USChase is a leading financial services firm, helping nearly half of America’s households and small businesses achieve their financial goals through a broad range of financial products.
