The RDM team creates and cares for Apple Stores that look, feel, and function as beautifully as our products. We do this by obsessing over the employee and customer experience, and driving a global strategy that sets the bar.DescriptionThe Program Manager Lead will manage a team that oversees the development of construction-ready, integrated custom building systems for Apple’s Retail Real Estate and Development group worldwide. Work with all of Apple Retail to provide maintainable solutions that meet operational and aesthetic needs. Provide strategic direction formulating and executing comprehensive initiative programs that are in support of Apple retail store projects. Oversee a team of Project Managers, establish best practices, processes and tools. Manage overall team budget, oversee reporting to Finance. Track team workload and resource management. Work with Director to establish priorities. Maintain cross-functional relationships. Establish strategy for a given Initiative (RASCI and approval path), identify key partners. Present as needed to senior leadership for approval to proceed.Minimum Qualifications10+ years of project management within the Architectural, Construction and/or Industrial Design industry with team managing experience.Knowledge of the requirements to develop building systems and technologies, and their integration.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required to work effectively with a wide range of design, construction, and technology specialists.Proven strong leadership skills and ability to develop meaningful internal and external partnerships.Experience leading a team to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Preferred QualificationsUnderstanding of Mac OS and Mac software such as Keynote, Numbers and Pages.Excel proficiency is a plus.Familiarity with common industry scheduling software, budgeting software.Retail Development Experience.Bachelor's degree in related field.At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $178,900 and $269,400, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
