Sony Interactive Entertainment LLC seeks a
Sr. Application Security Engineer
in San Mateo, CA to collaborate with engineers, consultants, and leadership to address security risks. Responsibilities: Calculate risk of security flaws based on likelihood and impact. Analyze components and context of evaluated resources to determine applicable and reasonable security requirements. Collaborate with development teams and articulate security concepts, including assessing potential attack vectors, risks and threats, defenses against security flaws. Provide guidance for security practices on host, database, and application solutions for multi-tier systems. Ensure enterprise class application architectures that are highly scalable, reliable and secure. Leverage Java, Go, Python, and Perl to detect and remedy security related issues, including OWASP top 10. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Cyber Security or related field or equivalent. Two (2) years of experience in the above responsibilities. Salary range:
